Contrast of digital inclusion in urban and rural areas in Chile

Objective: To know the levels and inequalities of access, use and awareness that the inhabitants of rural and urban communities (in northern, central and southern Chile) have about computer and information technologies associated with digital spaces. Through a survey, access and use of electronic devices and internet, digital skills, technological literacy, algorithmic awareness, digital activities, among others, were measured.

Current stage:

– Implementation of the survey conducted.

– Statistical exploration of the database.

– Confection of the opening process of the study (for availability for public use).
