- Strengthened regions for equitable development: Contributing to the decentralization and productive transformation process of Chile’s 16 regions, fostering inclusive and sustainable development.
- Green transition for a sustainable future: Supporting the country’s environmental and climate objectives through institutional strengthening and effective climate action and biodiversity initiatives in various economic sectors and strategic ecosystems.
- Sustainable energy transition: Contributing to Chile’s efforts in decarbonizing its energy matrix by 2050 and developing the potential of green hydrogen as a clean and exportable energy source.
- Digitalization and connectivity for the 21st century: Contributing to closing digital access and usage gaps by enhancing connectivity and expanding the digitization of public services nationwide, while positioning Chile as a digital hub for South America.
Significant investments have been made in digital projects, both in the public and private sectors, during the first year of implementation.
It is expected that these efforts will intensify by 2024 with additional financing of over $1.4 billion, primarily allocated to private projects contributing to the country’s economic development.
