Catalina Farías is a Ph.D. student in the Media, Technology and Society program at Northwestern University. She studies digital inclusion in vulnerable populations, new technologies access and use, networked social movements, and gender dynamics. She holds a BA in Social Communication from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She has worked on international projects on feminist digital activism and several national-funded projects on digital inclusion, digital skills in rural populations, and the use of digital media. She is a graduate affiliate of the Center for Latinx Digital Media.
