NUDOS Webinar: “Health in the Digital Age: Challenges and Opportunities in Social Networks”.

In commemoration of World Social Media Day, the webinar “Health in the digital era: challenges and opportunities in social media” will be held on July 1. This virtual event, scheduled for 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, aims to explore the various challenges and opportunities presented by social networks in health communication and will feature the participation of NUDOS associate researcher, Macarena Peña y Lillo, expert in health communication; María José Letelier, Head of the Department of Digital Health of Minsal; and Cecilia Rodríguez, director of Somos Ciudadanía en Salud of Fundación Me Muevo.

This initiative seeks to bring together health professionals, public health institutions and communicators to discuss and explore the opportunities and challenges presented by social networks in health communication. It will address how to manage misinformation and other related issues on digital platforms.
