Latin American Studies Association (LASA) International Conference 2024: “Reaction and Resistance: Imagining Possible Futures in the Americas”

From June 12 to 15, three NUDOS researchers will be presenting their research at the Latin American Studies Association (LASA) 2024 International Congress: “Reaction and Resistance: Imagining Possible Futures in the Americas” in Bogotá, Colombia.

– On June 12, Macarena Bonhomme, a young researcher at NUDOS and associate professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Chile, will present her research: Social Media as a Tool of Resistance for Migrant Platform Workers, LASA 2024 – Reaction and Resistance: Imagining Possible Futures in the Americas.

– On June 15, Alejandro Olivares, young researcher at NUDOS and associate professor at the Universidad Mayor, with the presentation on: The new Chilean bureaucracies: 50 years after the coup, administrative continuities and digital transformations in public management.

– On June 15, Sergio Toro, principal investigator of NUDOS and professor at the Universidad Mayor, will present on Political Socialization in Chile: The Inversion of Family Roles in Political Discussion.
