Trust and Resilience in the Global Information Environment

¡Sebastián Valenzuela, principal investigator at NUDOS and scientific director of the International Panel on the Information Environment (IPIE), will participate in the event “Trust and Resilience in the Global Information Environment“, organized by IPIE during the United Nations General Assembly!

On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, Valenzuela will present the results of the 2024 Expert Survey, which will explore key trends in the global information environment. This event will bring together international experts to discuss highly relevant issues, such as trust in information during elections, artificial intelligence, and climate challenges. The event will feature in-depth discussions with leading voices in the field and provide insights to help shape a more resilient information environment for the future.

Additionally, the event will serve as a platform for IPIE to launch its new Scientific Panel on Child Protection and Social Networks and introduce the focus areas for future scientific panels.
