Objective: The technological gaps that occur in school contexts are highly relevant, since this is the space in which the main learning and dispositions towards digital tools are formed. In gender issues, a wide literature confirms that male and female students receive differentiated treatment in the teaching of computer and informatics knowledge in schools. Using a comparative approach, this project explores national and international studies to review the effect that school contexts have on differences in attitudes, types of use and skills with computer technologies by gender.

Current stage:

– Pre-record design for study of compositional effects on gender differences in technological self-efficacy.

– Database processing “International Computer and Information Literacy Study” (Chilean case only).
